Hi,

Thanks for your input re: changing my conventional gear to tri-gear.The idea of
having one bracket on the stub to hold the gear was one idea and I thought that
somebody may have tried it and may have some insight for me.Another idea which
has been kicking around here is why not cut the spring bar in half and move it
over and bolt it to two brackets. One inside the fuselage and one on the stub
wing.I would think that two brackets per gear leg should be sufficient.(?) This
would save me the trouble of re-engineering stick and brackets(which are
already installed) to get around the centre gear leg bracket if I was to move
the brackets to the rear of the spar.(which would involve considerably more
work!)
You might think that i'm being stubborn about using the spring bar in the
tri-gear conversion but I would like to cover all possibilities before giving
up on this idea.

Happy building and flying.
