Excellent post, Larry. I managed to get 5 flights in my KR-2 before the nose strut broke and destroyed the airplane. FAA FSDO determined the strut was defective (cracked) before I installed it; end of story. I still cherish that brief time in KR flight. The years of building allowed me to hel
