I was just curious what would happen if you were to fiberglass a foam
fuselage lengthwise instead of 45? It looks like ot me that Eduardo from Chile
has gone and fiberglassed his fuselage lengthwise versus 45 degrees.

If you use regular bi-directional weave cloth, run at 45 degrees to
whatever, both length and width stresses have to cross every fiber.

In cloth covering, 45 biased tape is used around edges for the simple
reason that it has more longitudinal give, for example leading edge tape.
