Why do you need another set of plugs? Use Bosch PLATNUM plugs with the backup
system, it is better than puting new holes in the heads.

imported from Great Plains.and standard VW plugs.I have installed a backup

Are you talking about a VW engine? What kind of plugs, depth of the
threaded area? The only place I have seen a problem, is on the VW when the
plug treaded area has been bored out, to allow for the 1/2" reach of the
aircraft plugs for the magneto. It is not uncommon for these to get blown
