Build your spars out of aircraft grade Douglas Fir. The wood is more than
15% stronger in tension and compression than spruce.

Just playing devils advocate here so I can think about what I am doing and how
it affects the plane. I certainly hope I hit 700#. AT 1300# the wing loading
looks to be 15.853#. I know this will effect some of my performance #'s but I
suspect it will just have to be unless I loose
