Story: New to me kr2 acquired 4 years ago, had 18 hrs on the clock all
ground run. I've flown for almost 4 and brought total to 26 with a little
bit of crank endplay I assumed was normal but one day I was
look into an inertia switch, common on Ford's of 86-95 on many models, rear
left corner on most of them. Their specific purpose was to cut fuel in the
even of a crash, this was prior to the obdII generation so it's just a
simple switch and a simple reset process. Might be what your looking for?

You refer to flaperons - is that what the original builder did with the
ailerons? Can the angle of both ailerons be changed together to affect
glide path and drag like flaps?

I was under the impression that if the craft didn't have flaps or the
control surface took up the the majority of t
year I'm considering throwing pulleys
on the roof, 5# weight and rigging it to pull up on them and balancing them
straightedge even with the underside.
I appreciate the feedback, thanks, Max

I hadn't really thought about it when I initially mounted the wings on a
kr2 I bought from the original builder, I had just assumed the adjustment
rod from the bellcrank was already in the correct position. They looked ok
by my precision calibrated eyeball but if I were to put a straightedge on

I unfortunately have spent way to many hours in front of a hunter alignment
rack. If you ignore the wings you're basically in a a car with a very high
center of gravity, tri gear and tailwheel, toe-out will compensate for a
slight tipping situation due to weight shift, whichever tire hits the

Planning on attending my first KR meeting I will be bringing a Subaru ea81
motor to sell and hoping to find some Corvair parts I'm missing. Are any of
the 5th bearing company reps going to be there?

I know I saw a fibreglass plenum to relocate the carb on a Subaru engine
somewhere in the KR world, and after I realized mine needs to be
re-engineered I searched for hours trying to find that page again, can
somebody please point me in the right direction? Don't wanna trailer it to
Mt. Vernon...
Im new to this club which I found while shopping Craigslist for a cheap kr,
my current project is a ragwing 16 ultralight, yes far from a kr, so I was
wondering if there's anyone in the Minnesota SD Iowa general area where I
could take a look at one up close before driving across country on a whim
