Does anyone know of a KR-1/Corvair that has flown?
I have a KR-1/VW1835cc that I fly as my daily flyer.
I am considering upgrading to a Corvair 3000cc since this is the
lightest version in the Corvair line.
Has anyone flown a KR-1/Corvair combo?

call and a possible
solution to the way it can be made to run better if you care to give me
a call this weekend and I will explain what you will eventually find out
yourself by trial and error.

PS, If you have a good Tilitson carb use it! and sell you RevFlo to
someone else...
My KR-1 with a 1835 VW had oil temps that were approaching 240 in the
summer months that I thought were too high.
I just substituted the stock oil cooler for a type 4 oil cooler which
has 2 more rows of cooling fins and that solved the problem.
However, if you look at the way I did it, you g
e you and Ernie done with your annual or is the issue above holding
things up?
How did that vortex generator dohickey work out for you in the intake? I
didnt really hear back much from you after copied mine and installed it
in yours.
My KR-1 is still running good and can be seen on YouTube under "KR 1 Low
Pass at Kapowsin"
