My 'wide open' flying RPM is around 34-3500 if I remember right, although
that's based on a westach 'voltmeter-style' tach - I grabbed a 'tinytach'

I have 978mhz 'out' (Skybeacon) on both my KR and PA-24.
I show up on FlightRadar when within radar-range of a towered airport.

The ADS-B rule is the same as the Transponder rule.
If you (a) have no engine driven electrical system (defined: battery and
alternator), and (b) do not equip ADS-B, then you can (C) fly anywhere
except within Class C or Class B airspace.
Since light GA aircraft generally avoid Class B airspace a
I have a Tri Gear KR that I bought from John Bouyea, which I am considering
re-propping.
The plane currently has a small-valve Revmaster 2100D & 52x52 Sterba prop.
Climb performance is not-so-great, and airspeed is ~115mph. Static RPM is
high - although I haven't used a digital tach on it just-qui
I did it because I prefer planes that don't ground-loop
For the tailwheel crowd, fixed gear on a KR means more prop clearance

There were/are issues with the retracts failing to stay down/locked.
Also no way to switch to nosewheel with the stock KR retracts.
As for NVAero, it's a part time business for Steve last I checked, so
response time may be slow.

2500 seeme like a great deal, for a complete minus engine airframe. Esp
with tri gear.
How about 2500 with the revmaster core thrown in?
If no, then how much more?

People who fly internationally - for the same reason owner-maintained
Canadian aircraft can't leave Canada. Other countries wouldn't recognize
the airworthiness of such aircraft.
Really that is where GA needs to go to survive: Certificated aircraft for
international and commercial flying, everythi

At least for my plane, with 5gal in the tank it won't even start without a
pump (I tried, right after I hooked the EFS-2 up - No dice. Fuel present
all the way through, and it runs on starting fluid, so that (IMHO) leaves
insufficient pressure). Given that there is only about 8" of vertical

So...
I'm using an EFS-2 and need a fuel-pump.
My engine is an 1835 VW with accessory-case & single-plug heads, and I'm
using a single mag as my ignition source. All fuel is in a *large* header
tank, directly behind the panel.
I'm hesitant to rely on the 'facet' type electric pump - they look ki
