Netters I am curently in the proces of instaling my Diehl wingskins.I have
the lower skin on both wings, the ribs are in place. Last night I went out to
my garage to doublecheck the washout before epoxying on the top wingskin. Much
to my dismay the washout had changed. It was off 3/4" over a

spars". I'm wondering if you replaced them because they were damaged from
removing the wingskins or did you remove your skins because your spars were
bad?

Don't try heat treating your wing attach fittings. youre stock material is
about as soft as it'll get and if you harden it you'll only make it brittle.
You won't increase the tensil strength.
I have my stub wings fiberglassed up to the fusalage with a square corner. my
next move is to create fillets between the wing and fusalage. I read in the
archives (i believe it was Mark Langford) who said with some discussed "if he'd
do it again he'd just slop some micro in the corner and sand a
