Hi there Jean-Charles. No one would build a KR aircraft just like or as close to the original Ken Rand aircraft, these days. The materials available now are so much better. The glass cloth we now use is a German cloth called 92/125 for most with the lighter 92/110. We use resin L295 Blue Styr

JC, Someone wrote a more detailed and updated KR-2 plans book, I believe around the early 1990's. I'm not sure if the same was done for the KR-1, but there should contain lots of good info as far as the building materials. Hopefully someone will chime in and provide more information on this f
