He was visiting Canada and dropped by to visit me on a trip to the Southeastern US. I haven't been able to reach him for several years either.
It's been a real pleasure to visit folks that I met through KRnet over the years, from several countries, and lots of wonderful aviation experiences, especially in Europe and Australia. I thank all of these folks for the comradery and the hospitality they've shown me. I'd name more names, but I have my secrets to keep....lots of great people out there, but not always getting a KR in the air, not that there's any shame in that! Their heart is in the right place, and we are all kindred spirits. Today I got in three hours of flying in an RV-7A with 12 takeoffs and landings on short and narrow strips, so I guess I'm good to go for another two years!!!
