The belt drive was great? Heaps of torque , but I had a VW Type 4 engine, 2 lit from a Comby Van. Chevy 307 pistons, cylinders machined from  solid aluminium. Original drive was gear drive! Michael In Australia CASA ( civil Aviation Safety Authority ) would not allow ( in the early days of building) the 4 bolts per WAF. The WAF has a solid spacers between each pair and a single 3/8” minimum bolt. ( also we do not use the aft 2” of the CoG. So in my opinion the WAF MUST be bolted, the
