The belt drive was great? Heaps of torque , but I had a VW Type 4 engine, 2 lit from a Comby Van. Chevy 307 pistons, cylinders machined from  solid aluminium.  Original drive was gear drive! But stuffed two in 15 hours.  I sold that KR a few years back.
