Hey all, thanks for the input (s), I am learning a lot, fast.
Somehow 12 years back it was hard to get a word. Now whole chapters are

Learned a ton in the last few days, thanks!
Gonna go ahead with the automated boost limiting waste gate, and also I

I haven't used a dyno before. I DO know that getting the power hooked up is
a big part of the equation. Prop selection isn't as simple as reading a
chart but Ed Sterba and Jeff at Props Inc. are good resources to talk with
about how to make that turbo power usable...

See Mark Langford's web page about the oxygen sensor mixture display. I
exactly copied his setup and it works great!

As for the "mixture servo" I have a Vernier mixture control...

I have been dreaming of cracking this nut for decades, yet only TODAY did I
ever see revmaster's turbo 2100cc horsepower/boost graph!
mine is 2180 so might be off a tad, but Revmaster did a lot of testing,
then put the test setup in the attic. Years later I asked and they dug out

I would be interested. I was going to wait until after my airplane flew to
address the issue of wheel pants but I guess it won't hurt to have them ready
and fabricated when I return to earth safe and sound...

I kind of had the same question on turbos I had considered putting one on mine
and the over boost was a concern I was just wondering if you knew that 38
inches was equal to 12 pounds of boost which I have no idea just just throwing
out numbers could you not get a turbo with a build in wastegat
Hi John.
I think Jeff offered a mechanical method to control your new waste gate. I
inherited a different way with N133RM.
Gary Sack told me about this feature and made sure I understood what it was
all about after Roy's airplane landed at my hangar...
The Revmaster 2200DT installation is detaile

Does anyone know if John Backer is still making wheel pants?
If so if anyone has his contact info it would be greatly appreciated. A local
builder is looking for wheel pants for his project.
Thanks I’m advance for my help you can provide,

I've been without internet since last Wednesday. Some clown hit a pole
with their car and ripped down a cable. They need to set a new pole
but I doubt they will do so when it is 10 degrees F outside unless they
can find a grave digger that knows how to dig holes in frozen ground.

I am not using a turbo or a VW... However, you might want to look at something
like the Turbo Wastegate Controller for a Subaru. It's a simple diaphragm that
uses a line from the intake manifold to pressurize the wastegate controller,
which will open the wastegate to regulate the intake pressu
