Hi John. I think Jeff offered a mechanical method to control your new waste gate. I inherited a different way with N133RM. Gary Sack told me about this feature and made sure I understood what it was all about after Roy's airplane landed at my hangar...
The Revmaster 2200DT installation is detailed here; http://www.bouyea.net/cur_proj/N133RM/engine_detail_shots.htm The manifold pressure is regulated with a clip that goes over the throttle shaft (attached image) With my runway at sea level, this clip limits total manifold pressure to 38" which is the top of the Revmaster engine operation chart for takeoff power. http://www.bouyea.net/cur_proj/N133RM/RevmasterTurboUsage.pdf After climbing to altitude, removing the clip allows adjusting for the lower atmospheric pressure and/ or more boost. I hope this helps. John Bouyea N133RM KR-2S - imported, fixed & flying www.bouyea.net/cur_proj/N133RM OR81/ Hillsboro, OR ... Is there anyone out there besides me still running a rayjay turbo on a vw 2180 vw aero conversion? ... So hey if you have some way to limit boost on the rajay, let me know! BTW, my carb is before the compressor turbine so all my intake manifold pressure samples are highly flammable!
