The problem is "center of lift" and the "C.G". , which need to balance,

FWIW, the adjustable trim on a plane should be able to effectively compensate
for all loads from the forward to the aft limit of the allowable CG range. If
it doesn't then you are dealing with a design issue you might want to consider
correcting. After rebuilding the tail and correcting the
KR-2 tri gear. VW 1641, 130 hrs. Single Bendix mag. Email for details.

The problem with typical KRs is that when you have it perfectly balanced
on the CG, and then add a passenger, you have an aft CG pro
I dont think this is about tail aerodynamics, that's a bandaid. It's about
the Center of the weight being where it supposed to be. I had a nose-heavy
Avid and you could trim, but as soon as power was reduced, nose got heavy
again. It would never trim for balance at all power levels. Very annoying.
