Clarification. Stock that engine makes 180 hp at 7800 on 91 octane.
My sled was chipped to 240 hp at 7800 and ran on 100ll av gas.

I guess you missed the beginning of this thread? It was about mixing fairly
large quantities of water with ethanol gasoline to remove the ethanol,
which passes into the water. Then you have to to separate the water from
the gasoline, which is what we were talking about.

That had to change when Jim converted it to a dual stick. When I built it as
single stick it had the travel called for in the plans. I did fly it in the
dual stick config but I did not realize that was all the up travel he had in
there. You do need to adjust it for more plans specs espec
I have 33 down and 7 deg up travel. Not according to plans but this plane has
almost 600 hours on it. DO I need what the plans call for?
