Hello KR enthusiasts, new to the group, please update how things go at the KR gathering, making a solid plan for next years festivities. Just throwing this newbie question out there. Has any of the builders out there considered using the 4 stroke 1100 cc turboed efi engine with a gear reduction set up? I had mine chipped, reved 7800 rpm, produced an easy 240 hp all day long, and weighs 175lbs complete. I have seen dyno tests at 3200 rpm make 120-130 hp. This engine uses a remote res for the engine for lubrication. These engines are in the 2013 and up arctic cat snowmobiles, and turboed 3 cylinder in the Yamaha snowmobile line. May not even need the gear reduction, unless your feeling greedy for power, they require min 91 octane, ran mine on 100ll. Just a thought fellas. Have a good time at the gathering, have fun. Cheers.
