Most of the gaskets between the mag and case that I have used do not have a
slot in them, just a hole. if the gasket is stuck to the mag it will not let
the mag rotate. Just a thought. Jim

When I converted my plane from retract to fixed gear. I set the axle the
same distance from the spar as the retracts were. Which is around 4" in
front of the face of the front spar. Now I am seeing here that this

Thanks for the informormation.
Installed today the steel with the fibrefrax on the fuselage. Left a gap with
approx 3 mm on the side around, I will seal this later with the red RTV.
