The first thing I noticed was, one impulse coupler clicked before the other. Checking the timing with timing light left mag was right on 24 degrees BTDC and left mag was 12 degrees BTDC. So I loosened top and bottom on the magneto base but couldn’t make any adjustment. The mag is loose from the base but will not turn one way or another. The magnetos I have are Bendix S4LN-21.
---------------------------- Robert, The Bendix S4LN series magnetos have a slot that the mounting studs feed through to mount the magneto. You may have to take the mag off and stab it back in a tooth or two off from where it was to get the timing right. -Jeff Scott _______________________________________________ Search the KRnet Archives at https://www.mail-archive.com/krnet@list.krnet.org/.
