Thanks Larry. Both my wife and I have 'job insecurity' or we would
have moved to a house with a basement and a garage by now. We should
know more on that by summer. Since our lot is small and configured so
it would be hard to put a decent workshop, alternative possibility

Roger,
Congrats. First flights are a big charge of adrenaline. The fun begins!

I logged .5 hrs yesterday in 738EM. F
This strip is 4400 feet at OK01. Plenty of bounce in the turf (needs scrapped
of high spots and turf packed). I am using It for initial flights. Still do
not have a permanent home for it. It’s a good feeling to have this thing in
the air.

But sand and more sand. Will it ever end!

No, it never ends. My KR has 1200 hours and has been flying for 21 years, but
it's sitting in the hangar today in pieces. It's going through an ongoing
annual inspectio
Roger,
Congratulations on your First Flight! It's hard to describe the feeling of a
successful first launch and recovery of a new airplane.
We didn't see the KR Grin but somebody must have heard your "YeeHaw!"
Well done.

Congratulations Rodger. It looks like we're going to be filling the ramp up
at the Gathering in Mt. Vernon Il. this year. I think this year is going to be
one of the best ones ever.😉

And they're both expensive. And at least the plane wants to fly.

All,
I logged .5 hrs yesterday in 738EM. Flys great, I think. I planned on running
another h/speed taxi since some time has passed from previous run. Well,
There is nothing better than flying! (well maybe one).

All,
I logged .5 hrs yesterday in 738EM. Flys great, I think. I planned on
running another h/speed taxi since some time has passed from previous run.
Well, I just kept the throttle in and pulled back on the stick and off it
went. Typical KR touches required on pitch and roll. Heading out

Well maybe this will never get done but having a nice built fuselage,
plans, the skins, and all the instruments, is more than I had 2 years
ago which was "zero"!
