No, it never ends.  My KR has 1200 hours and has been flying for 21 years, but 
it's sitting in the hangar today in pieces.  It's going through an ongoing 
annual inspection, waiting for new parts to replace worn out parts, upgrading 
avionics to stay modern.  The work never ends.  Nor does the infusion of $$.  
But I do get the pleasure of turning fuel into noise and speedy transportation 
regularly.  :o)  It should be back together again by next weekend.
