Larry is right about flying in precip with a wooden prop. That is something you need to avoid.  About hard IFR. I have flown many ILS approaches down to minimums in Cessna 172.  We'll see about my KR. With all the established modifications there are and I have Incorporated in my plane. Will see

I there an aluminum or composite prop that could be used in place of a wood prop? I am just now gearing up to build a KR2S and follow these threads with great interest.  I have a Corvair engine that I plan to use in this project. Guy Maniscalco ++
