  The reason Aircraft Spruce only sells Copper and Zinc sleeves is because that's what is acceptable for aviation use. I think you will find that most aircraft use copper sleeves, which is what I have used on the aircraft I built. FWIW, I found the copper sleeves ordered from Aircraft Spruce

What nico press sleeves are people using for control cables ? I see there aluminum, copper, zinc plated and stainless steel. It seems Aircraft Spruce sells just the copper or zinc plated. What are people's opinions on these various types? Thanks Bob R _
