The reason Aircraft Spruce only sells Copper and Zinc sleeves is because that's what is acceptable for aviation use. I think you will find that most aircraft use copper sleeves, which is what I have used on the aircraft I built. FWIW, I found the copper sleeves ordered from Aircraft Spruce to be less expensive than buying the cheapo aluminum sleeves from the hardware store.
