Hi kr friends,
I am looking on the internet for instruments. I want to go for a digitale
display like a mgl. I need to buy a speedindicator And a altitude in mb. Do
some of you have tips for a not so expensive adres, Or maybe some of you have a
extra set And want to sell it to me.
Thanks Stef
I removed the header tank from the BlackBird and put in wing tanks. This
did not affect the structure at all. After that, it was a true blessing to
be able to not only be able to get to the instrument panel and brakes, but
to have all that room for instrument modules. Even the RV guys were

I think that's because it's mounted below your engine. Heat from

It's very doubtful that the front and aft decks were considered in the
structural analysis of the KR. They are

There are not enough dirty words to describe the unfortunate situation
of having to do something to your brake cylinders/pedals or panel
wiring, and not having the front deck removable. Thanks to N891JF, I
can say that with complete sincerity. The main spar is so close to the
bottom of the pa

does it have its own air intake in the cowling.

Larry Bell did a nice job of this- he is using hinges with removable pins down
each side of the tank, pull the pins and the top comes off, leave the pins and
maintain rigidity

I would like to point out for those in the building process that it is
extremely important to make your header tank removable. Whether built of
vinyl ester or aluminum, being able to remove the tank and your forward
deck is of incalculable benefit. My first KR, Sparky's KR and many if

My main tank (17.2 gallons) is aluminum, custom made to fit Ken's
dimensions. The 4.2 gallon aux tank in the starboard wing is vinyl ester
and is supposedly ethanol-proof but I've taken no chances. I've never
put anything but avgas in i
I am interested in getting a different project and that is why i am selling

HI Guys,
I have a core for sale sitting here collecting dust. I have to get the numbers
off it for anyone that might be interested. It appears to be in great shape -
but that does not mean it shouldn't be rebuilt. Picture and numbers I will
email direct to anyone interested latter. I do not kno
That looks like it is Dean Cooper's old KR. He sold the project a while
ago in Tulsa. I saw the work he did when he lived in Jacksonville and
it was coming along very nicely. He changed the spars for the new
airfoil, but the length and width of the fusalage were standard KR.

Would that be a Sextopacer?
