It's very doubtful that the front and aft decks were considered in the structural analysis of the KR. They are "gravy", and other than fairing the plane in and keeping the wind off, they "theoretically" do not contribute to the structure. That's what engineers usually do...if it's too hard to figure out, they make sure it's not considered in the calculations, and therefore not necessary to fret over...
