Netters;
I know Phoenix is on the way to the gathering for most of you. It is problebly
out of reach for some of you in a one day trip, but if you can make it to Mesa
AZ. I can get you set up with a tie down, or a hangar, and I have 2 spare rooms
at the house with the wife and I. There is a lot
I hope you do not consider flying a KR in X-Plane, any kind of experience
that will help you. In fact, you will be better off forgetting it. I flew
a KR built by the MAN himself, and it flies nothing like my KR, but then I
knew that because of previous time in a real KR.
This is just a caution
my KR-2 from home back to the airport, K2W6, today. No traffic backups
or incidents. Used the same boat trailer that I used to take the fuselage
to AirVenture for a homebuilders work shop many years ago.

How did you get the KR up onto the boat trailer

Thanks for the feedback. I can see from the port and o-ring locations that
there is likely no other means of "checking" the flow. I installed new
Viton o-rings at rebuild, and I'm pretty sure I checked compatibility with
the aircraft fluid. I've heard from several folks offline that these are

These brake cylinders look very similar to the lower portion of the Rosenhan
cylinders I have except that mine have the
Does anyone have a cad file for the aileron bell cranks and arms? I figured
I'd ask before I make my own. Thanks for any help.

A Boat trailer is exactly what I have in mind when I get there, Sid. Good
luck on your weight and balance and further flight tests.

No, I can't identify the brake cylinder. New one on me. However, I wanted to
point out something that you've probably already checked. This will have
little, if any, impact in the short term but may have in the long term.
Depending on which brake fluid you're using, not all O-ring mat
Interesting. Looks like a machinist home made that one.

If it only bled on one side, it is probably like my Ercoupe cylinder. I had
the same problem during bleeding; the rod must be completely pulled out or it
won't bleed properly. I thought the rod was out but it wasn't. I don't know
if this is your problem, but it sure sounds like it.. May be
I don't know the cylinder, but it looks like it is such a simple design it
should be pretty easy to troubleshoot. I would check again for air and
then ensure the orings weren't cut or damaged somehow.
