The RV guys often use Koger Sunshades. By now the company may have one
that will fit a KR canopy.
I've had excellent results with static-cling film I found on line. It's
held up extremely well over the years. I think Wal-Mart has some.

How about the "outside sheath" on something like a lawn mower throttle cable?

Craig. If your turn is balanced relative big G should still be at right
angles to your tank, the fuel levels should behave identically to when the
tanks are levelnow in a side slip that's when your ports will
uncover...take care in side slips close to the ground.

That is what I used. I pulled the center flex thingy out of the Dremmel
flex shaft and ran it inside a piece of nylaflow tube that was inside a

I wrapped Teflon tape around the needle screw for packing. The screw
threads turn easily in the Teflon and no leaks. I tried O-rings around the
needle shaft, but had to tighten the gland nut to prevents leaks; then the

The rack and pinion were off the shelf parts. I think I got them at
McMaster Carr, but possibly I had them left over from something else. I
have a lot of stuff like that around my shop. The pinion gear was on a
1/4" diameter shaft if I recall correctly and had a bearing on each end.

shelf or custom? I need to make something similar for my Mikuni SBN.
