There is a KR-2 project in Martinez California that appears to be a great
deal for someone wanting to build a KR without a lot of cash. A builder's
widow has to move by the end of the month and cannot take the project. I
wanted to pick it up but am unable due to preparing to leave

OK, I am not in the market to buy another KR-2 right now but you mentioned one
of them as being Saturn powered. I have never heard of anyone doing a Saturn
engine conversion for an experimental. I would love to see pics of that.

Late yesterday I made my first flight after six weeks of not flying, due to
revamping my flap mechanism to double the flap deflection to 45 degrees, adding
50% more fuel capacity, and adding 8% more wing area. Best I could tell in 40
minutes of flying is that top speed hasn't suffered at all, c
