There is a KR-2 project in Martinez California that appears to be a great deal for someone wanting to build a KR without a lot of cash. A builder's widow has to move by the end of the month and cannot take the project. I wanted to pick it up but am unable due to preparing to leave for OSH. They bought the complete kit from RR for roughly $9k and includes most everything and then some. It has new tires and wheels with matco hydraulic brakes and the later model fixed aluminum spring gear (not installed). The boat and spars appear to be completed. The canopy is there. This is a steal. The price.a grand total of only $800 and you pick up a great project. If you are interested please contact Emma Green direct, and PLEASE do not commit to buying the project from her if you cannot perform before the end of next week (7/31/2010). On a side note, we will be at OSH next to Flycorvair.com (William Wynne) at spaces #644/645. Come by and see us. We are pondering what show specials we can offer but you will have to come by to find out. Also, we are now officially a Dynon dealer! If you are thinking of purchasing any of the Dynon products, we can get them for you and you will be helping us keep the KR parts and manufacturing alive. If you had been to our website in the past couple weeks and saw it wasn't there, that is because we changed hosting services due several issues we had with Intuit.
