to make changes to the OPAC details page, make sure you use XSLT to
display the page (set the OPACXSLTDetailsDisplay preference to use
XSLT) and change MARC21slim2OPACDetail.xsl to your liking.

favour keeping extra database fields in extra tables dedicated to
the service, so Koha core does not get cluttered with extra fields
for Facebook, Google and whatnot.

Unless you remove with --purge, your installation should still work
