I'm now trying to run v5.15 kernel after months of v5.4 running without
crashes on BTRFS.
On first boot with v5.15 I've got on dmesg ...

This happens to me as well on Ubuntu 20.04.4 LTS with Xorg on a Tuxedo
Pulse 15 (AMD Ryzen 7 4800H with Radeon Graphics), but only when I plug
an external HDMI 4k monitor.
Sometimes I see the same error message, but most of the time the warning
that seems related to the screen going black is:

hi
when we update kernel to 5.18.3 this error occurs for example when you use ufw

I also installed kernel 5.18 in my Thinkpad Carbon X1 4th gen and
suspend works as expected but not all the times. Some times the laptop
doesnt suspend. I also get an error message (usb failed to query
get_info ...) when booting. It is strange because all my usb ports,
camera, etc work fine.

Thanks for informing us, Bjorn. That means the safest way to go is wait
until one's favourite distro ships kernel 5.19, which requires 5.19 be
oficially out (non-rc stable final) - any estimates how long this might
be (how much time kernel updates usually need to get from RC1 to final
release?)

I am using kernel v5.15.0-37 but I am still affected by this bug on my
XPS 15 (9500). Installed mutter is 42.1.
Also, the Night Light is not working (I saw some references in this
thread about this feature).
Is there anything else I must update on my system to have it working
properly?
Thanks!
This was fixed long ago for me. I think it's safe to close this since no
one posted here for 5 years.

Running dmesg is not possible as this results in an I/O error, so it
seems that it is related to the nvme driver / disk.
