  usb no longer works Mac mini 2012

Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  This has been in use since 2019 but no longer works in 22.04 or 21.10,
  probably the usb rewrite to 40 Gb/s. 2016+ hardware works much better
  now, but 2012 hardware can no longer be used
