system monitor. The total RAM uses increases gradually after the boot.

I just did a fresh install of Vanilla 19.04, so it's not happening just
yet. I'm going to install my usual and replicate it, and then do the

Also, I don't have an apcups, and when I tried to search for the daemon
prior to the fresh install, it wasn't there.

Not sure if this might help... looks like this Dell has some hardware
design problems - we should be able to come up with a workaround
nonetheless. I've had the stock Ubuntu kernels die on me several times -
goes into what seems to be disk thrashing (on an SSD?!) and 50% of the
time the OOM killer
