I sometimes have a USB headset plugged in to my computer. When the
headset is plugged in, I get tens of messages like the following in
dmesg and syslog:

Hi Joseph - in the past few days created a script to show a pop up when
I get any kernel oopses and that is what caused me to raise the bug.
However, checking my logs the earliest occurrence I have is from April
21 with same kernel version (3.13.0-24-generic):

installing the firmware-b43-installer and I got the behavior. Later I installed
additionally the linux-firmware-nonfree but it didn't change a thing. What

Running the apport command prompted me to install some python thing, and
after that, running it again, some window came up saying that it was
collecting information, then it froze for 30 minutes until I had to kill
the command, so that doesn't work.
