Here's something. I found a temporary solution which was to disable DDC/CI
support in PowerDevil through the environment variable POWERDEVIL_NO_DDCUTIL.

The issue is still present in QT 6.8.0. Which I think rules out the original QT

application and about 15-30 seconds later, Kalendar crashed.

I found the entry for Kasts in the keyring earlier and deleted it. After
deleting the Kasts folder in var and reopening Kasts, I entered my credentials

I am using the gnome-keyring and also keepass2 as my normal password storage,
which shouldnt be involved in this (hopefully).
By "using gnome-keyring" I mean, its installed and it manages my ssh-keys etc.
