On Fedora I had the same problem. They just build kidletime with X11 support to
detect idle time. They just built a package with this support and it solved the
problem.

On my laptop, clicking on battery applet shows "Sleep and screen locking after
inactivity automatic", manually block button is off.

Fedora 40 included these patches in a new version. However, it seems to break
the logout from KDE plasma. When I select logout (on multiple computers) I get

The logout works with Plasma Wayland. The problem seems to be with Plasma(X1).
However, I can't use Wayland because some apps are very jittery, like chrome

This fix is not applied to 23.04.0 even though afc support is now formal. The
problem still exists as explained below. Applying the below patch to kio-extras

No annotations but I am doing Save as...to save it to my home directory.
It appears in /tmp/mozilla_umar0/ by default. It would be nice if one
tries to save it defaults to home directory.

Hi, I had solved this by starting kile with the old working version, closed
all files (since even if kile was called without a name it opened the last
