I am testing Edgar's CTS since it seems to be useful
for many users and I want to add a description about
it in the help documentation.
I followed the help file to instal it:
1) put files from gt2jump.cts-0.1a/ext to OJ/lib/ext
folder
2) Check if in Openjump.bat
Salut Michael,
i have seen your last commits (thanx for the changes).
There is one thing to note:
The plugin seems to be necessary for MacOSX users, since the other
LoadDataset dialog does not show the "ok" button. Thus, before doing a

Hi,
OK, I did not remember the ok button problem with mac osx.
I thing there should be a solution without duplicating the plugins, but
I have no mac to test.
I'll have a deeper look in the code to try to understand.
Mac users are welcome to make more tests with load and save features

Hi Stefan,
We still may wish to change the UI so that it is possible to set
fractional line widths as is possible in other programs. That would
require more refactoring. It depends on how much control users need.
Such capability is always included in programs like Illustrator, and
is commonly

ok.

The unit for line width is defined by the graphics system - so 1 = 1
pt. = 1/72 of an inch (or metric equivalent).

I would be interested in the perceptual limit.
Our users typically produce maps for limited distribution in two
different formats: DXF and PDF. It also may be printed on either a
standard printer or a large size plotter in order to study it more
closely or prepare for a meeting with a client.

There is a lot of dead code that could be removed. I'm surprised that
the ones on your list are no longer referenced, but it doesn't hurt to
try.

at my home computer i have only a german version (with images), i will
look tomorrow at my work place for the english version and send the
(pdf) pages with the thresholds off-list to you (for copyright issues).
I also used a few of the recommended minimum values for map making in

hei Guiseppe,
sorry for being late
(am .. Sunburned forwardes but since i filter emails by subject search,
e.g. [JPP-Devel] the email was sorted in the list emails - sorry )
yes, please write it on the wiki. I think you do not need to ask for
that, a) i trust you, and b) that why we have a wiki
just a note:
apart from degree one may also look on Kosmos code and Erwans Project:

mhm.. it sounds interesting for me too.. even i think i have seen some
similar concept.
but here, the themes were shown only in a different "view".. called
map-view (which avoids a bit confusion).
I see the idea rathe as an add-on.. that means as a concept that is on
the same level as a layer.
Good free tool for finding dead code: ProGuard.
