Hi Ede,
When snap option is checked, the space bar works as documented :
- press the space bar deactivate snap temporarily
- releasing space bar write "snap activated", right
When snap option is not checked, and an editing tool is selected, thinks
are a bit strange

Michael,
I'm a little confused. To whom are you speaking in this e-mail?

Micheal,
I'm just catching up on some of my older e-mail. Please forgive me. :]

Hi Hisaji,
In july 2005, you said it is impossible to display snap grid both as
points and lines. This has been reported as a bug (bug report 1231887).
Displaying both points and lines with the same spacing would be useless
as points would be invisible.
But may be what you want is, for example,
Should be possible.
I dont't feel it is necessary, but I'm ok to search for a solution if
someone tells me : I tried to edit features in snapping mode and I find
it confusing when I create new points because This way, I'll be sure
it is worth looking for a better solution :-)

the info box, down left?

Michael,
What did you mean when you said "My experience is that it is more
confusing not to be able to snap points (snapping linestrings and
polygons works just fine) than to have points snapped on another one."
To what "another one" do you refer? A point on the grid, or a node on
a feature geome
Hi,
Snapping points on vertices or on grid was not possible and I fixed that.
I must say this was note a bug as there was a note from Jon Aquino saying :
//Don't allow snapping. The user will get confused if he tries to draw
//a point near another point and sees nothing happen because
