I've overcome the prob by simply copying one image to something else and
then double-clicking on it to get overwritten on 'Save Image as...' ;-)

e .sh script set two environment
variables pointing to the pertinent apps... $MRSIDINFO $MRSIDDECODE
The core code would then profit from the set env vars...
Just raving a bit... :] but I feel that these are reasonable methods
for tacking with the matter at hand... ;-)

checkbox produces no results. :O
