It's a matter of nomenclature ... the MrSID utilities for linux were just renamed... Now shoot me if I'm being way to simplistic (for not knowing the pertinent code) but wouldn't it be just a matter of refactoring the code to call those files? Their output is exactly the same as the former... Better yet... java has methods to determine the platform being used... so it's just a matter of calling the right apps for the current platform... Yet another method: either in the .bat file or in the .sh script set two environment variables pointing to the pertinent apps... $MRSIDINFO $MRSIDDECODE The core code would then profit from the set env vars... Just raving a bit... :] but I feel that these are reasonable methods for tacking with the matter at hand... ;-) Kind regards, Pedro Doria Meunier -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.7 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Remi - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFGe1Qb2FH5GXCfxAsRAh9zAJ9xrMTz5clOIZKQDC11Kfy9UvgfSQCeIOiK Bp3hOF5sMqwg+pFzTYM8RIw= =2GVv -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by DB2 Express Download DB2 Express C - the FREE version of DB2 express and take control of your XML.
