I have following scenario..I have two network card
installed on my system,
One is connected to my window based internal network
as a workgroup
configuration with W2k server.Another card is
installed having fixed IP
with outside world.In nutshell my mach is working as
gateway.I have REDHAT
14MBits/Sec = 1.75Mbytes/s
BTW what the max writing speed of your hard disk ? ;o)

Try this...install apache in the linux machine, and then use your browser to
download a 100mb file from the same computer.
