Hi friends,
I am facing a problem with my RHL 7.2 desktop. I have some Fat32 and Fat16
partitions on my 17.2 GB HDD which has Win 98 on the primary partition. I
use GRUB to boot into Windows/ Linux. When I boot into Linux, the boot
process hangs during the "Checking Filesystems". I have to press C
sorry in the last posting i could not post the timings. so here are the
timings.

When I try using Disk Management, I can mount all file systems through the
GUI so atleast /etc/fstab is correct, seems some daemon has been disabled
by my tweaking.

I will try that, but I haven't touched the settings of BIOS and this was
running for the last few months.

for your network card problem try to run ' kudzu ' its a program that configures the hardware for linux. Even this doesn't work mail me back i will tell you a little harder and last option for your problem

Best option is to run kudzu without n/w card and
remove the card driver(module) configuration and than
attach your network card and run again kudzu. It will
reconfigure the network part as well as driver
(module)for hardware.
