If you are on Redhat / Mandrake systems, try running
netcfg/netconf. Also you can configure all network
services thru the Control Center. Read the
documentation specific to the distribution you are
using for detailed information. If the network card
has been recognised by your system while installing,
you also can configure it thru 'ifconfig' and 'route'
commands. Look at the man pages for these commands.
