I guess there is no swap in computer's hard disk. The 16 mb is the boot partition to keep the boot information. It would have worked even if it would have been 8 MB. Also I don't think there is not any need to defragment before using partition magic. The software itself can do it ,

One question What exactly is the problem ..If I missed it ... If I get the questions correctly Q1 HDD can have 4 primary and quite a few logical partitions Q2 It looks like u dont have any swap there ... Q3 Missing Q4 In this case how do I reconfigure the SWAP? What do u mean by it . U prob
