$MACRO_VARIABLE$ triggers a macro expansion, but your email address is not a

If you want to write a new and better migration script, I would recommend you
to use the "pynag" python module which is capable of reading an icinga 1.x
configuration into python data structures.
Based on these data objects you can generate your own config, maybe there is
also a python module f
You could try to disable the csrf security checks in your CGI config, otherwise
you need to submit the csrf token like your browser does.

Hi
this is not directly a nagios/icinga issue, but some nagios plugin behaving
badly when called with a locale other than C. It outputs commata instead of
dots for floating point numers. Call the plugin with LANG=C or LC_NUMERIC=C and
not the German locale, then you will see that the performanc
I assume that the icinga-web package and its default configuration has been
designed for icinga 1.x core.
In order to make it work with icinga2 core, you might need to adapt the path to
the command socket in your local configuration. I do not consider this a bug
and the problem will fix itself
Hi,
since the command expander of ClassicUI does not work
with icinga2 core anymore, I'm looking for some replacement
in order to get an idea which commandline the icinga2 core
will execute for a service.
To make commands and arguments visible, I had the idea to extract
the variables "command" an
Hi,
I installed the following packages:

Then check_http returns a "dot" or a "comma" in performance data, depending on
the locale:

Hi,
Problem solved. The attached file works correctly for HTTP IPv6.
But the stack trace IMHO should not happen, looks like
a config validator bug gets triggered if the type
on the left and right side do not match (string vs. hash).

Hi
by simultaneously pressing Ctrl+Shift+Del in your Browser you usually get a
data and cache cleanup dialog which allows you to delete the Basic Auth
credentials temporarily cached in your browser.
If this doesn't work, try the Webdeveloper Extension to clear the credentials.

Hi Chris,
access to specific host or service checks can be achieved by applying so-called
contact groups to them.
Each non-admin contact only sees the hosts and services which are assigned to
one of the contact groups he belongs to. This way every one can have his or her

Hi Michael
well, currently we're using LConf, but need to add nodes to LDAP more or less
manually or half-automated when nodes are added or removed.
The simplest form to register a new cloud instance to the monitoring system,
would be that the instance itself calls a tiny php script on a webser
Hi there
in the dynamic age of cloud computing, instances/nodes are volatile, they come
and go. So we would like to see an API to add or remove hosts. Maybe even
auto-detect and add service checks. Some functionality similar to CloudWatch
would be nice. Graphing and Threshold alarming of cloud
