Hi John,
Do tell. Have you the full text?
It is Friday, after all.
BTW, this is the first time I've ever seen the word "prosodic" outside of a
dictionary.
Thanks!

Hi Folks,
A side note - I did this set command and my hi-lighting of fields (on my
ISPF DA panel) has returned. I'd been wondering what had happened. Changed
default between z/OS 1.11 and z/OS 1.13? Hmmm.
Thanks!

Hi,
Maybe not a command, but I noticed these messages when I start my TN3270
server w/SSL support. This is from a z9BC. I *think* this indicates CPACF is
installed and active.

Hi Folks,
Even though it's not Friday..
Back in the early '80s, I worked in the NOC of a large company as a network
tech. We had our 37xx machines in there, as well as 8' network racks loaded
with Codex analog modems. These ran all around the outside walls of a small
room. Add oscill

Hi,
In our environment, we have a mix of emulated 3390-9 and 3390-54. When we
have a need for small volumes (page, etc), we use 3390-9s and backfill them
with rarely referenced files - documentation, etc. I tend to keep the system
on 3390-9s (except SMPPTS!), as there was (once) a bit o
Hi Steve,
I knew that "SPO" sounded familiar from my B3500 days in a former life.
Someone once told me it was "Supervisory Printer Online", which I suppose
was adapted to a terminal? Long time ago - 1976 for me.
Here's an interesting link (actually - I googled Burroughs B3500 an

Hi John,
Had the same issue with 12.0. I used the sledgehammer approach and changed
ALLOCxx to increase the dynamic allocation parms.
Hope this helps!

Hi,
You might be surprised how many companies allow or even encourage this.
I work 1 day/week from home. It's partly a response to the bird flu from a
few years ago, and partly to prove that we have the infrastructure to support
hundreds/thousands of remote connections to work. I enjo
Hi Daniel,
I'm having the same problem pulling down single PTFs from Shop z.

Hi John,
Yup! I've been looking at XPS since we do cross-platform scheduling as
well. We're still on the AutoSys/Connect middleware.
Thanks!

Hi Lizette,
I'm enjoying the pleasure of upgrading CA7 to R11.3.
It's now called "CA WORKLOAD AUTOMATION SE".
Can't even tell it's for the MF from the name anymore!
Cheers!
