Then Harbour compiler and final binaries created by Harbour compiler
will work on Win9x.
Sorry but no. Some RTL (gtwvt, hbwin) only work with Windows 2000 or later and crash in Win9x because *force* _WIN32_

Forgive the stupid question, but the only switch I'm worried about it is how

Since Harbour core libs will contain references to
Windows UNICODE functions, anything that uses these
core libs won't (by default) run on Win9x.

I would have replied to this thread earlier if I could simply "reply" to it
via gmail... But anyways... my program started crashing with all sorts of
BASE/ errors after I kept retrying it. Then I just rebooted and never saw
these errors again. The only thing I can think of that I did as far
