with TP's --nowrap policy for my local copies. I have them
in a git repository, and it is easier to check the history when the
lines fit in a 80-column page. The --previous option is quite
important though, I should have included that one.

If there is some way this may happen, then this call is OK, but I'd try
to stay with a cheaper push unless it's really needed, as O(1) < O(n),

Nonetheless, we're only waiting 1 second + processing time to timeout
the lookup for EBUSY at 'with-delay-device-in-use?'. Should we extend
that timeout? I don't think waiting even minutes at this stage would be
a big issue, as formatting an encrypted partition may take hours and
will be performed just after that.
